Therapy Services
Therapy services are provided by our Board Certified and Licensed therapist. Our therapist use evidence based treatment modalities to best suit the needs of our clients. Therapeutic services provided include: Psychosocial assessments, diagnosing, individual therapy, family therapy and couples/marriage therapy.

TMS Treatment
Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a type of brain stimulation therapy. It’s a noninvasive treatment that uses electromagnetic pulses to stimulate nerve cells. It is FDA approved for the treatment of Depression and OCD.

Supported Employment
Supported Employment is designed to help individuals with diagnosed mental illnesses find, secure, and maintain jobs alongside other members of their community.

Psychiatric Services
Psychiatric Evaluations and Medication Management are available for individuals of all ages. These services are provided by our Board Certified Psychiatrist and Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Astra's Freedom Recovery IOP for Substance use disorder and Dual-Diagnosis utilizes evidence based modalities to treat both mental and physical health. Our program offers two separate adult groups throughout the day to best fit into work, school and family schedules.

Medication Assisted Treatment
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is the use of medications and counseling to treat substance use disorders. MAT medications work to normalize brain chemistry, block the euphoric effects of alcohol and opioids and relieve cravings

School Based Therapy
School-Based Therapists work within local schools to help students overcome behavioral, emotional or social problems that interfere with their school and home life. Currently, we offer school based therapy in Bardstown, Marion County and Hardinsburg.

Day Treatment
Astra's Day Treatment program is an intensive rehabilitative mental health service for children and adolescents whose mental health is significantly impairing their functioning in school, home and community environments. Our Day Treatment Programs operate year-round, 5 days a week.

Targeted Case Management
Targeted Case Management (TCM) is a set of services we provide to help clients gain access to necessary medical, social, legal, educational and community services to improve their physical quality of life.
